Digital Art Today and How to Incorporate Digital Dimensions into Your Artistic Practice?
Facilitators: Majken Overgaard & Rune Brink Hansen
A workshop that offers you knowledge about what digital art is today and how you can develop your artistic practice in digital formats, connecting it to income streams and improving your ability to convey your artistic work digitally.
The workshop has been developed in collaboration between Korridor, CAKI, and Vega to introduce the specific challenges and opportunities involved in developing an artistic digital practice, identity, and strategy.
This is the first time the workshop is being held. It is considered a pilot project where we are testing whether the format and content are relevant to students and can become a recurring offering. Therefore, initially, the workshop is only for a small number of students.
The students will, as far as possible, be invited to participate based on a practice where, in dialogue with the school’s teachers, we have assessed that the student may immediately benefit from having digital perspectives on their artistic practice and business.
There are limited seats available for the workshop, where CAKI can provide 10 seats in both Copenhagen and Aarhus. The remaining 15 seats are offered for sale in the professional environments through the venue Vega. Therefore, not all students for whom it would be relevant to participate may be invited to participate in the pilot program.
We apologize in advance if not everyone who wants to test the program has been asked. That’s how it has to be this time. If it turns out that the program in format and content is meaningful for students, it will be a goal to offer the workshop again in the near future.
The program has been developed with support from the Tuborgfondet.
